About Jake
Jake Collins anchors the PNN Evening News, his first big chair, and he intends to earn it. He arrives early, leaves late, and rehearses his cold open in the car, sometimes out loud at stoplights.
He studied the great anchors on tape in college and can do a passable impression of most of them. He prefers not to be asked to.
He irons his own shirts, keeps a backup tie in his desk, and calls his mom after every show to ask how he did. She says great. He asks again.
