About Trey
Trey Holloway is PNN's sportscaster: a former college linebacker whose NFL dream ended with a knee injury in his senior year. He'll tell you about it. He'll tell you about it again.
He treats every game like a playoff, every highlight like a game-winner, and every trade like a personal matter. He also knows the game from the inside, and he can break down a defense faster than you can find the remote.
He co-hosts PNN Sports with Gary Pruitt, who has never thrown a spiral. Trey is teaching him. It's going slowly.
Credentials & honors
- Three-year starter, Midland State Mustangs (team captain, senior year, until the knee)
- Midland Conference Defensive Player of the Week, four times
- Has watched game film of games he wasn't covering, for fun, on vacation
- Still does his pregame stretch before every broadcast
"That's not a game. That's a playoff. Every one is a playoff."
