About Gary

Gary Pruitt is PNN's tech, AI, and internet culture correspondent, which means he was online for the story before it happened. He tracks every new AI model, every app launch, and every internet feud the day it breaks, and takes all of it personally.

He explains the internet to the rest of the desk with the patience of a man who has none left, and he reads terms of service for fun. He has an unreasonable number of browser tabs open right now.

Off the air he keeps a spreadsheet ranking things no one asked him to rank, and he still hasn't forgiven an app for a feature it removed years ago.

Credentials & honors

"It's not a trend if I was talking about it last week. It's a rerun."
